“I had 6 of my 7 surgeries at this facility in a 28 month period. UMMC is the only level one trauma hospital in MS. I prefer this hospital for this reason and because it’s a research hospital which means your level of care will be optimal. I am a Veteran and the local VA will refer certain patients to UMMC if appointment to see provider at VA is too far out.Overall, the experience has been an 8 on scale of 1-10. You will always have issues no matter where you go but at least you can voice your complaint and they will follow up etc.I’ve had Dr. Jared Davis as my plastic surgeon, Dr. Geisler as orthopedic surgeon and Dr. Berry as my oncology surgeon and my level of treatment has been excellent. They are the best at what they do!!!I am also a patient at the Dental School and love it especially the cheaper prices. But mostly I like that the students are being graded and there are several dentist that make sure they are performing procedures correctly. This also allows students to learn and perfect their skills.I highly recommend this hospital for all of your healthcare needs.“

“This is for Ms. Grey or Ms.Gray I've been coming here for years. I only found out about her 2 years ago. This lady exceeds expectations for Jackson. This woman is so professional so amazing and cares I mean really care. I've been coming here for years she never ever let me down. She's always available to listen and we'll fix any problem you may have. Jackson is a horrible place for understanding bad management ghetto in a professional employees. They live up to their reputation but this one lady if you ever have any problems she will fix it. Without attitude she has great understanding and very very reasonable something that you don't find here in Jackson no matter how professional people are supposed to be. Miss Gray you are an awesome person a lot of managers and supervisors can learn from your expertise and how to treat people.“
