Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home, Jackson, MS, helped us several years ago purchase our funeral package. We felt like a great load had been lifted off of our shoulders. When my husband passed away recently, all the basics and then some had been done long before, so all we had left to do was only the last minute decisions had to be made. Alicia was incredibly helpful during my meeting with her and reviewing my prearrangements for the gravesite service and burial at Lakewood. She even visited another funeral home closer to my home to meet with me. She meticulously went over every detail of my service and burial to ensure that everything was as smooth as possible for my family.
My parents wanted to go ahead and preplan their funerals. So, we went to Lakewood because it is our family’s cemetery. Porcia Gilmore and her staff were just amazing. They were patient, professional and so kind to all of us. What might have been a sad occasion, was in fact a pleasant experience. Thank you to everyone who gave their time and attention to us.
