I brought my 7-year-old son in to Marquis. This was my son’s very first haircut, and he had wavy hair that went way down his back. This was a big moment for us, as his hair had always been long. Marquis did an AMAZING job (my son got a fade) and anticipated my questions and thoughts as a mother before I even had to ask. He’s such a great listener, easy to talk to, patient, and very professional. We arrived 15 minutes early, and he was ready for us. We definitely left with a “tru cut!” I highly recommend him. 5 stars!

I started going here because my husband randomly chose this place to purchase a gift certificate for either my birthday or Christmas years ago…I’ve been going ever since! I love the personal one-on-one experience you get due to making appointments - there’s no crowd of walk-in’s waiting to get a random technician. Also, I love all the technicians there, but I absolutely love Sandy! She has a mild, professional, yet fun, personality. She knows how to both engage in good conversation as well as let the client just sit back in silence and enjoy the experience. I especially love this, because I’m not always a talker. Depending on the day, sometimes, I want to enjoy the experience in silence, and Sandy does well to pick up on this.
Daniel is always amazing, but do not get your eyebrows done!! The first time I had ever gotten them done was this week at this salon she literally she pulled a layer of skin off pictures below!!

It’s been several years since I’ve gotten my toes done at a nail salon because it just wasn’t in my budget. My mom got me a gift card for Christmas to the place that she goes to and it was ok, but I was disappointed in how messy the edges were. A few of my colleagues go to Tips & Toes by Philip so I figured I would give it a try next now that I can afford it. I am SO incredibly excited to call this my new go to nail salon! Beautiful space, friendly staff, chill music, and Jon did an amazing, gorgeous job on my pedicure! The foot massage made me stop reading my book because it was so incredibly relaxing. I will definitely be going back again and again!
Update 09/04: I made the mistake of going to a different nail salon recently and was disappointed with the service and outcome. I’m back at Tips & Toes by Philip and am so excited! Jon spends SO MUCH time on cuticle care and is SO PRECISE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this nail salon! Again!

A marvelous shop in Fondren. Found on Yelp after one I stopped in didn't seem to mind if I left because they were so busy. Victoria, the owner of Cuticles was unable to take me at that time, but she asked me to make an appointment for the next day. I'm glad I did. The atmosphere is very warm and relaxing ! Got a great mani-pedi, also. This is definitely "my" salon now

I was driving by and noticed they were open, so I decided to get a tattoo that I wanted for the longest. A semicolon which holds so much meaning to me. Now, I have been coming to Sqench’s for years, in fact Chad did all of my piercings and I had quite a few. Squench even did 2 of my tattoos, but the past 3 years I have been staying in Houston. Curt Dog was so friendly and polite when I walked in. He listened to the tattoo that I wanted and asked me did I have a specific person that I wanted to do it. His energy is what drew me to wanting him to do my tattoo for me. He is the sweetest person and very knowledgeable of his craft. He made me feel so comfortable. He told me that he has just started back tattooing and I’m so happy that he was there when I came in. I will recommend him to everyone. Thank you for completing my tattoo!

Made my first visit to Electric Dagger an was super impressed! Mike was great and very personable, spent a good deal of time making sure we were comfortable! His cleanliness was above par and the shop was gorgeous! I got two smaller tattoos and my boyfriend got one, and Mike was patient and made sure we both liked what we got. One of mine was a cover up and looks fantastic! Pricing was a bit more than we expected, but as in all things, you get what you pay for! And we don't mind paying for quality, and that's what we got! I will definitely be back!

We have used Magnolia Exterminating since 2016. The service they have provided while we lived in the Jackson area was phenomenal. Josh serviced us through the years and was always responsive if we had any needs. He was also great at making suggestions concerning one off pest issues through the years. The team has ways been courteous and polite. You can’t go wrong by using them.
Had a couple squirrels running around in our attic and not only did they get rid of them, but they also found the source of where they were getting in and offered us probable solutions on how to prevent it! I was satisfied with the way things looked when it was done. Plants were guaranteed for a year (which it hasn't been), but some are not thriving, and I have called and texted to report that there is not just one or two but more. I can not get a returned call or text. The job was pricey.
Service is always announced by phone at least one day in advance. The service reps are efficient and respectful. We’ve seen good results.

Dr. Robert Neely & his staff healed my 7 year old daughter's fear of the dentist. Between their gentleness, kindness & the new technologies they use at this office, we had a wonderful visit that I couldn't be more grateful for. She had had some tough visits before we started seeing Dr. Neely but they really created an entirely different perspective for her & anyone that has a fear of dentists knows what a huge thing that is. They made room for her in an emergency for our first visit, were very thorough, I could give you an encyclopedia of reasons but I'll suffice it to say if you are in need of a dentist, this is definitely the place to go!

I had a lipoma that was pressing on a nerve. It started causing spasms in my neck and shoulder. It was keeping me up at night and really uncomfortable. I went to Victoria and saw a huge difference in the first session. The entire team is very friendly. I had to get a referral somewhere else and Jamie was super helpful with sending over my insurance information which I’d accidentally left.
We absolutely love this clinic! Dr Ford figured out what was wrong with one of our pets when no other vet could. Such a great place - we are treated like family!
The best Vet and staff you will find anywhere. I want to ask the next time I’m in how many years I have been taking my dogs and cats to Dr. Burns and prior to that Dr. Sullivan at the same clinic. It’s been about 30 years. Doesn’t look like I’m going to change. I did consider a man Vet for my big dog, Sally, awhile back but couldn’t make myself change. This crazy dog loves men, an uncle, nephew, delivery guys from Home Depot, you name it. My small dogs, especially Jack, can’t wait to get in and out of my car to see Dr. Burns and staff and in a rush to get to the back, swinging his head back and forth like a toddler does when they bust your lip. They are all wonderful at this clinic, prices very reasonable and they get my animals well. I love these people!

I cannot rate this lovely place highly enough. We recently adopted a vulnerable shelter animal and the entire staff here bent over backwards to immediately jump in (and we were new clients with an unexpected urgent need). From the compassionate front desk staff (thank you Brandi and Savannah), to the lovely groomer to the incredible vet … I was humbled by the care and professionalism of everyone. Our new pet is thriving, in no small part because of the love shown him in an emergency. We will be clients from now on.
