I got a large American traditional piece done across my thigh by Thomas Burton and I genuinely could not be happier with how it turned out. He listened to exactly what I wanted and designed it perfectly, honestly better than I expected. I went in thinking I'd need to tweak or refine things, but he nailed it on the first try.
The linework is incredibly clean, and the color is even more impressive, which is huge for American traditional tattoos. Everything is bold, even, and packed in beautifully.

Ian Arseneau is amazing to work with. I’ve been getting tattooed by him for 5 years now and every piece he’s worked on has turned out amazing. Absolute best in the business. If you are in the St. Louis area, I highly recommend Ian and Self Inflicted Studios. Everyone at the shop is super kind, knowledgeable, and are incredible artists.
Ian was fantastic to work with. He is professional, accommodating, and incredibly flexible with scheduling. I thought his pricing was also very fair and reasonable.
