I called St. Louis Brick and Tuckpointing because the back wall of the 1920's addition on our recently purchased 1870's brick home had shifted and had begun to move just by touching it, likely due to many decades of water intrusion which had never been addressed by previous owners. It was a scary situation, indeed. I was given an estimation appointment right away, and met with their estimator, Jack. He was very thorough and professional, and assured me they could deconstruct the wall and rebuild it as good as new, in a timely manner, for a fair price. We liked what he had to say, so we decided to go with them. True to his word, he and his team of bricklayers and tuck pointers were there on time, as promised, on starting day and diligently worked to deconstruct the wall, and rebuild it, brick-by-brick, starting at the stone foundation, and working up. It was fascinating to watch the progression as they worked! They were a great group of guys, and they worked together like a well-oiled machine. All of them were super nice and friendly! It took them only 2 days, from start to finish, to rebuild the wall, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome of their work! The wall is now completely reconstructed, sturdy and stable once more.....something it has not been in many, many years. We truly appreciate the masons, bricklayers, tuck pointers and laborers at St. Louis Brick & Tuckpointing, and we are grateful for their expertise! They are true artisans of their craft, and FABULOUS at what they do. We are so proud of the work they did for us and thrilled to showcase their talents on our home. We hope to have them back soon to address some additional masonry issues on our historic Victorian home and have already referred them to our family members, as well. We couldn't be happier with their services and professionalism, and we highly recommend this company!
