She explains everything and goes over all the products. I will legit follow my hairstylist where she goes! Her newest location is at the Chop Shop East and I have to say that I really like this setup and location a lot! Danielle (Dani) F. is my hairstylist and I have been with her for years! She was even my hair stylist (along with Erin who is also at Chop Shop East) for my wedding day and those ladies did such a great job with wedding hairstyles too! Dani gets my hair and always makes me feel fancy when I leave her chair. She is a master hairstylist and can take my messy looking hair and turn it into something amazing. Scheduling through the online portal is super easy to do and they send out reminders and confirmations as the date gets closer. When you arrived, parking is usually easy to find on the street and then you can make your way into the building. They have a few different stylists in the space, so make sure you know where you are going, but once you get there, your stylist will take care of you. The space is an open concept design with different rooms so that each stylist has their own personal space. It's really cool and very chill. Dani is super easy to talk to and makes you feel very comfortable while you are there. I trust her with coloring and styling my hair and I have never been disappointed. If you are looking for a new hair stylist, check this place out and maybe schedule with Danielle (or Erin)-you won't regret it! I really wish I had taken a before and after photo a few months ago when I went from having longer hair to my cute short hairstyle that I have now. It was a major transformation and was so amazing to see from start to finish.

Draven was recommended to me by a friend who is also a client of hers. I have never coloured my hair before so I was a little anxious initially but Draven was absolutely amazing. Incredibly knowledgable and definitely has a talent for colour. To top it off, she's such a sweet person who genuinely cares about satisfying her clients. I would also like to note that I regularly drive 2hrs to have her do my hair and she is very accommodating to that. I can't recommend her enough!

ChopShop has some of the most talented, dedicated, sweetest and kind-hearted people in this entire city. I have visited this salon for an array of beauty services from multiple people and have always left feeling satisfied and fully taken care of. A visit here is an experience, and you should absolutely treat yourself to it.

I cannot recommend Nicole Casper at Chop Shop East enough! Such talent and a heart of gold. Nicole is a true artist.
Anyone concerned about the current climate and their health should be relieved to know that safety precautions are so good, that as a high risk individual, I felt safe, which is not an easy thing to find in any environment right now.

I saw Draven at ChopShop East over the weekend and it was awesome! I originally wanted to get a curly updo appointment with Carrie but she was booked up. Carrie recommended Draven and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. I love the Chop Shop model where the clients work directly with the individual stylists. I think it makes so much sense. Each stylist sets their own price so, there's a little bit of a learning curve there. There's not really a front desk or secretary so to speak. You contact the stylist directly and they tell you their availability and pricing. Draven did a great job. She's very up front and open about pricing and she listened to my feedback when I had concerns. She's also easy to get a hold of so you can send her inspiration pics or just discuss your concerns beforehand. As someone with really curly hair who's been going chemical and heat free for several years, I was a little apprehensive to try someone new. Draven has lots of experience with working with natural curls. As soon as she started working with it, it became clear that she knows how to work with curls. She trimmed up my hair dry and then did a really cute little bun that highlighted my natural curls really nicely. I just found out that she also started doing makeup so when I go back in March to get my wedding hair done, I'll have her do my makeup too! Super excited about this find!
