I love it here but why are there no outside sitting areas except where people are smoking or cars are running? People who wear masks indoors might have time to kill and want some fresh air. No benches around the building at all.

I went to see Emily Myers NP yesterday. The experience was terrible. First, I made an appointment with an MD because I wanted to see an MD. They called to cancel and reschedule it later. That's how I ended up with an NP. She could see me sooner. The experience was traumatic and dehumanizing. It was yesterday and I am still crying. I don't want to go back. I am considering risking my health and avoiding preventative care like physicals because I can't face being treated that way again. I don't know what I would do if I actually got sick. Die? I would prefer it to how I was treated yesterday.

The care I received at the Center for Advanced Medicine (primarily in the brain tumor clinic) has been incredible. Every doctor, nurse, and tech has been professional and compassionate. As much as I wish I never needed a place like Center for Advanced Medicine/Siteman, I am so glad that it exists and I would recommend it to anyone making decisions about where to undergo treatment.
