Clean and well equipped YMCA right downtown near the convention center. Tons of equipment and love all the Life Fitness and Hammer Strength. Staff was friendly and informative. Bring your own lock if you have a lot of items to store since it’s a slightly smaller facility than some of the bigger ymca locations that are also part of this association

I like the leg press in this place since the range of motion is greater than most 45° leg presses I've used. It's great they have plenty of 2.5 Ib plates since I've run into too many guns where I need to bring my own. I haven't used it, but they have a 12 inch plyo box that I'm familiar with that's great for box squats. For the size it's pretty and has a nice variety of equipment.
This is not the main gym I train at, but it's a good option for those that live downtown that have hybrid/remote work. It's great they have Saturday hours, and they don't give you the run around if you cancel a membership.... read full review

The facility is definitely nicer than some of the other YMCA locations in town. The locker rooms are up to date and seemed well kept. The sauna works great, especially compared to other Ys in the area. However, the free weight area is missing a few essentials for me (no incline bench? No fly machine?). It's a fine enough location if you're staying downtown and need somewhere to work out. I won't be making it my regular gym.
