Smithville Animal Hospital, established in 1960, is a caring and friendly place dedicated to your pet's health. They offer excellent medical care and programs designed to keep your animal well. The hospital is known for its compassionate staff who take the time to answer questions and provide valuable recommendations. Patients appreciate their ability to accommodate sick animals and their genuine concern for animal well-being over financial gain. The new staff is very nice and better than the previous owner. They are totally compassionate for being a small town clinic and go out of their way to make everyone welcome. They were open and willing to squeeze a little therapy cat in for reassurance. The staff was awesome, encouraging, relatable, patient, and kind, even with many other owners coming into the clinic with pets under special/difficult circumstances.
Hi, my name is Kylie, and I brought in my baby, May. She was sick, struggling to walk, and i didn’t know what to do because i only had 360 dollars to my name. Not only did these AMAZING people talk me through prices and help me work out a plan for what i thought was wrong, but when it ended up being something else they didn’t push for unnecessary tests, or try to use my willingingness to pay any price for my cat. They are two very busy little ones and you all collectively were able to help to make the process of their surgery and stay so seamless. Thank you so much for getting them back to their full speed ahead again and their full energy of life. The house was way too quiet without them, but we know they couldn’t have been in better hands. I like the new staff at Taylor Animal hospital. Very nice and better than my previous experience with the previous owner. Nail snipping is a bit higher than I like but I was able to see the groomer my dogs are familiar with. I will continue to support the business as long as Jen is there.
