The staff at the St. James VA Clinic are consistently helpful, respectful, professional, and compassionate. From the front desk to the medical teams, everyone works hard to make veterans feel heard and cared for. What many people may not realize is how much these employees handle every single day. Providers often manage well over 1,000 patients each, nurses triage an enormous amount patient concerns and they work hard behind the scenes to coordinate and keep everything running smoothly and support both patients and providers. The front desk staff frequently take the brunt of frustrations while still remaining patient and courteous.

I have been going to the VA clinic for nearly 20 years (both locations) and have never had an issue. The staff is caring, all my questions are ALWAYS answered and the wait is VERY minimal.

I've had nothing but good experiences at the St. James VA clinic. I was prompted to write a review after reading the 1 star negative ones. For these complainers, try visiting John Cochran in St. Louis. One star would be too high for that place.
