Nice little feed n' seed type shop - an elevator if you will. Location is in a bit of an odd spot (not sure how you enter if you're eastbound on 1st capitol) but otherwise had a great variety of grass seeds and dog chewables.

El-Mel is a very multi-purpose store that covers everything from lawnmower parts, to pet food, to grass seed. Propane, pest control, birdhouses, and tools... El-Mel has it all. This store has a separate Part Counter for Lawn Equipment Parts and Sales. They Sell and Service Toro, Echo, Snapper, and Stihl. The person who helped us at the parts counter was very knowledgeable and helpful. We left the store with blades for an edger, two stroke oil for an edger, oil filter for zero turn Toro without any wait time. This is also a great local resource for Traeger Smokers, Wood Chips, and Accessories. Visit El-Mel to support local. I will be back soon.

The employees are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed going there with my friend, Keim L. Baird, M.D., to get his Stihl chainsaws and lawnmower fixed. The blonde lady was always nice to him and they laughed a lot. We thought it was cute how she called him "Mr. Baird", even though he's a Dr. They give good advice on what additives to put into specific tools/machines.
