The barbers at The Barberette take pride in their work and are professional, welcoming, and patient. They listen to clients and take the time to understand what they want, often asking thoughtful questions and reviewing reference photos. The shop has an unbeatably chill atmosphere and offers cold local beer. Clients have had excellent experiences with barbers, receiving great haircuts and advice. Husband gets hair cut here and Linda does a great job. But today we took our little 20 mo old kiddo in for his first haircut and she was wonderful with him. Gentle, introduced everything in stages, and was so super careful with him. Really appreciated her speed, expertise, and care. Will be bringing him back for sure.
After a pretty bad experience at another barbershop, my partner went in for a haircut here, and Linda R. was phenomenal.
She was professional, welcoming, and took the time to truly listen. Linda asked thoughtful questions to make sure she understood exactly what my partner wanted and was patient while reviewing reference photos together. She made sure there was clarity before starting and never rushed the process.
Most importantly, she executed the haircut exactly as requested and did an excellent job. The entire experience was comfortable, respectful, and positive from start to finish.

I went to the Barberette in Parkville for the first time this past Saturday and had a fantastic experience. Haley and I had an enjoyable conversation and she did an excellent job cutting my hair. I’ve received several compliments already. Safe to say the best haircut experience I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks Haley!
