With, and our dogs suffering under the assault, we were keen to have the professional help. When Peter Coss arrived to find that I had sprinkled diatomaceous earth throughout the entire house, and it was still present. Of course, it needed to be vacuumed up first. I hadn’t thought of that until too late. Little did we know that DE will clog up a vac motor enough to disable it. Sure enough, shortly after Gilbert began the vacuuming, my husband found that our vac stopped picking up. While he furiously worked to find and clear the problem, and I went to a neighbor to borrow their shop vac, Peter continued with the cleaning preparation process. Immediately upon returning with the shop vac, he began vacuuming and continued until all of the carpet was finished.
