“I got several quotes for a potential new roof (it was old and had years of hail damage) after a company canvased my neighborhood. I spent considerable time/energy contacting what I felt to be the most professional companies… with high review ratings and recommended by Angie’s List. Coldstream was one of them. Kevin came out, inspected my roof and then talked with me at length. He was very professional and personable… but just as important to me, he was very honest in telling me my roof would probably last a few more years… but he gave me pros and cons for waiting versus replacing it now. He also pointed to a problem my previous roof had that I was unaware of and recommended a fix of that problem also. After much consideration, I went with Coldstream because I trusted Kevin (he didn’t try to “hard sell” me, a single woman, as other companies have done) and their pricing was good… not too high, not too low. My roof was replaced within a week (!). It’s beautiful and Kevin made the process go without a hitch. I rarely ever provide reviews for companies, but interacting with Kevin (before, during and after the replacement) made the process so much less stressful for me! The combination of Kevin and the high caliber of materials and workmanship has made me a very happy customer :)“

“Storms and Tornadoes hit Saint Louis, MO in 2025. They were massive, trees were snatched out the ground with the concrete still connected to the base. LANEHOUSE WAS READY. My roof was a complete replacement. Windows were damaged and replaced. Siding was replaced. The jobs were scheduled and completed to maximum PROFESSIONAL standards. “THE BEST!! Mike and team bax knocked it out of the park on our custom built home! For starters, Mike helped secure a prime building lot in south county. After that he presented various home plans in which to choose from. Mike went over several detailed items indicating areas where we could save when we were reviewing these plans. Mike took care of all the filing and permit requirements necessary. In addition, he set us up with a title company which handled all construction disbursements as well as lien waivers. His crews were the best. From foundation to finishers they did a impeccable job with great detail. Mike uses quality products, prime lumber and building materials throughout. He has great vendors he sent us to too choose from. Cabinetry, appliances, flooring, etc-etc. During the building process it was not uncommon to see Mike on site checking on his workers as well as inspecting the build. Mike is a good communicator. He always returned calls, texts, E mails. Frequently he would call to bring us up to speed or ask our opinion on a minor change before acting on it. In closing, we were very fortunate to have found Bax Built to build our last and forever home. The entire family work together to assure total satisfaction. Both Rebecca his wife (interior designer) and Mike jr (3rd generation carpenter) are involved in the company business and all work together to make these dreams come true. “I signed the paperwork and sent the down payment Saturday. By the following Tuesday they were there at 7:00 AM. They completed the job by noon the next day. They did an outstanding job as far as I can tell. I plan on getting the roof inspected by my insurance guy to get a second eye to take a look. “We are so glad we chose to go with JH Exteriors. We knew we needed new windows and we had a siding issue but we didn’t realize the damage that was underneath. A lot of things came up along the way and Josh and Heather were there through them all - very responsive and professional. There is a labor shortage right now and from what I can tell every business has been affected. Despite being down workers Josh made sure the job was done and it was done right. I was hearing horror stories from so many people that they had put money down on jobs and couldn’t get a hold of the contractor - we never had to worry as JH stayed in contact with us regularly and returned every call/text promptly.
