“I literally just left there and had to make sure I left my review before pulling off the lot! It’s been a nice minute since I last had a really good piercer. So here I am trying to find a new one. I took time to research some good reputable tattoo shops here in STL. And then I randomly came across 13 Roses Tattoo & Aesthetics. I walked into the shop to see if a piercer was available and I also had a few questions to ask. The young man at the front desk that greeted me was very nice. He was able to answer my question and then soon after the piercer came up to the desk to answer other questions I had. Next thing you know I’m like ok let me get my new piercing done today! The shop is nice and clean, I didn’t feel rushed during the time I was there, my questions were answered and the piercer was very professional! I knew I would like him cause he’s funny, has good chair side manners and is knowledgeable about what he does. So with that being said, I’m happy to say I have a new piercer!! I look forward to coming back next month to get my bday piercing…thanks so much Brian😎“

“I got a large American traditional piece done across my thigh by Thomas Burton and I genuinely could not be happier with how it turned out. He listened to exactly what I wanted and designed it perfectly, honestly better than I expected. I went in thinking I'd need to tweak or refine things, but he nailed it on the first try.
The linework is incredibly clean, and the color is even more impressive, which is huge for American traditional tattoos. Everything is bold, even, and packed in beautifully.
The shop was spotless, super organized, and very sterile, which made me feel comfortable right away. We spent about 8 hours on this piece, and the whole process was easy! Great conversation, no awkwardness, and he consistently checked in to make sure I was comfortable. He made sure I was hydrated, had eaten, and offered breaks whenever I needed them.
The final result honestly exceeded my expectations, especially the color. He also explained the healing process really clearly and gave me his contact info in case I had any questions afterward.
I would recommend him to anyone who loves American traditional, bold color work, or creative, out-of-the-box designs. I'll 100% be going back he's my artist from here on out!“

“I went last night and got my septum pierced! Chelsea did the piercing and she was very patient and kind. There was hardly any blood and minimal discomfort. I was really nervous as this was my first piercing. She was fast and it was over with pretty quickly! Definitely recommend for first time piercings, and if you are nervous, don’t be! It’s so worth it :)“

“I had a great experience! Iron Age answered my questions via email in a timely manner. Furthermore, after being told I had difficult anatomy for a septum piercing by another piercing place, I went to Iron Age for a second opinion. Bayle was able to pierce my septum without issues! 2 weeks later, it is healing wonderfully! And, it looks so cool! I also got my rook pierced by Mackenzie. Another wonderful piercer :). “Spectacular! I called beforehand hand asking about pricing and the gentleman who answered, who ended up being my piercer was very kind and straightforward. I’d gotten my septum done before in the incorrect position and expressed that to him, and was reassured it would be pierced correctly. He was very light handed and quick and I barely felt the needle go through at all. Very welcoming staff. Only had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes to get brought back. My first time going to that shop but I will most definitely be going back for future piercings/tattoos“
