My insurance changed and I had to find another eye guy.<br><br>Dr. Steele just found an issue with my vision that someone could have easily overlooked. How? He asked questions and dug a little deeper than the average optometrist. Consequently, I received a referral to a specialist instead of just getting a new prescription. Yes, it sucks that I'm getting older and changes are taking place but I really couldn't be happier with his services!<br><br>Unfortunately, my exam required a bit more time than allotted. My apologies to the person who had to wait but these things happen. In my opinion, it is far better to go to an optometrist who wants to get it right instead of one who is simply handing out prescriptions.”

I’m officially glasses free, and he took the time to address all of my questions and concerns both before and after the procedure, which made the entire experience feel comfortable and reassuring.<br><br>I originally had my consultation in St. Louis, but because of my schedule it was much easier to have the procedure done in Atlanta and then complete my follow-up care back in St. Louis. The team coordinated everything seamlessly between both locations. “These doctors are incredible! I already sung their praises on Google for previous visits... I feel like I want to write a review after every visit because they truly blow me away every time I have a eye emergency. If I had money, I would make a tv commercial for them. ? Today (SATURDAY) at about 12:15pm I realized I needed to be seen by an eye doctor...I should have called first thing in the morning but thought I might be ok to make it till Monday. While urgent cares serve their purpose, I learned the hard way 2 years ago, eye emergencies are for professionals like the doctors at Vision Care Consultants. Anyway, VCC closes at 1pm and they still allowed me to come in and be seen when I called them at 12:15. They take your eye health serious, and their patients serious. Until 2 years ago I never really had an eye emergency... I went to an urgent care and it almost cost me part of my vision because they didn't treat me properly. THANK GOODNESS for VCC! Somehow I found them that day and they saved my vision. I have had like 4 other type emergencies since then and each time they were incredible. The staff is always polite, professional and knowledgeable. You get a Top Notch Professional Care at Vision Care Consultants... not some corporate company with eye doctors that change all the time and just wanna go home. They squeezed me in when they probably could have just went home to enjoy this beautiful weather. Saving me from more pain, possible eye damage and most likely an emergency room visit and bill.”

“Dr. Browning and the group at Family Eye Care of Maryland Heights are such a wonderful team. Dr. Browning answers all of my endless questions thoroughly and gives amazing information so that I understand what is going on with vision and eye health. Mark is an expert in all of my insurance and is always prepared before we arrive with info about what we have and how it can be used. He is also a great helper with choosing glasses! He is honest and gives great information about the pros and cons of each pair and how it looks. Thank you also to the tech (sorry I forgot your name) that does all of the initial testing.
