Not a lot of care was put into my haircut. I felt like the gal that did it rushed through it and they were not even busy. I don't fully remember her name, she is the one with shorter hair herself. Sophie sounds familiar, but can't remember for sure. I walked in, signed in on the tablet, and was immediately put in a chair, so there should have been no rush as there wasn't anyone in line behind me. She never even touched my head with her left hand for support while using the clippers in her right hand. Never told me to tilt my head to the side or down when cutting the back and trimming my neck line. She skipped trimming one of my sideburns and I had to tell her that she missed it. I went home with a long chunk here and there because she did one pass, and not even a thorough one at that. So I had to run my own clippers over it all again, once I got home, to get the missed long spots. And then the next day I had a family member tell me that my neck line was super crooked and janky and they helped fix it for me. I will probably not be coming back here. The photo is also after I did an extra pass so it only shows the bad neck line and none of the length inconsistencies. Ignore my scar on the back of my head in the photo, that is not their fault.

I typically visit a different Sports Clips location and stylist, but I was short on time and stopped into the Lee’s Summit store. I was greeted by several stylists upon arrival, which made for a great first impression. Christina did an excellent job understanding my style preferences and kept the conversation friendly and engaging. She also took the time to explain the shampoo and conditioner she used and asked about my post-wash product preferences. Overall, it was a great experience.

Melanie did my boyfriend’s hair and didn’t listen to a single thing he said or I said that we wanted. His hair is extremely uneven far too short on top and didn’t follow his natural hair pattern. Never coming come back here again. Would recommend you go elsewhere.
