I have been hearing about Barb for over twenty years. Everyone I have known who went to her had cute haircuts. I filed the info in my brain and did nothing else because I had a fantastic stylist that always gave me a cute haircut. He died and I started looking for a replacement. After many years and numerous bad hair days, I finally found Barb on Yelp and gave her a try. I am no longer looking for a stylist; she is the best. She gives great haircuts and can also style your hair so you look really cute when you leave and you don't have to go home and wash your hair and start all over. I can't believe no one has reviewed this business yet. Hair cutter / barber/ stylist, Barb Rues has been in this location for at least 20 years! She's a sole proprietor with her shop on the main floor of her home. I've been having her cut my hair for about 15 years and many of my friends have gone to her for even longer. She's a little talkative (mostly interesting tho-- politically aware, a reader, movie watcher etc.) but she really knows how to cut hair. It looks good when you walk out-- AND it grows out well. That's my main bragging point for Barb-- even if I let it go a month too long, it never looks raggedy. Pricing is reasonable. Pretty easy to get an appt. Works...read full review
