Generally unprofessional. They claimed they could work with our insurance company to get some repairs covered. That hasn't panned out but we still wanted work done to our home. It has been a few months now and I feel like we have had to chase them down yelling "take my money!" trying to get this company to do ANY work at all. Takes weeks to get a quote if you are lucky, their estimators(even 3rd party hired by Van Pelt) are awful and miss meetings or cancel when they are already 5 minutes late. I hate to write such a review on a company that seemed promising at first but when my calls get ignored after getting strung along for months and having so much of my own time...read full review

Very dissatisfied with the experience we've had thus far. The initial conversations we had were good but then we were put with a sales rep who has thus far given us inaccurate estimates that have changed after every visit. The estimates were never provided to us in writing, not the first visit or the second visit. And I question if he was even listening...since the most recent call was asking yet again to know our "budget". I want to know what the work is going to cost and a "budget" should not be a factor in what the cost of the work is. At the prices we've been quoted, I almost feel as if this group is a sham... Grade A fire restoration and water removal. Van Pelt Contracting is incredible. They have excellent customer service. They explain to you everything you need to know from the job, to the cost, to the timing. They are very enthusiastic about there work. I am very satisfied with my relationship with this company and would really reccomend them to anyone
