We have taken our kids twice to get their hair cut here, because they love it. But honestly, each time my daughter’s hair cut has been awful. This time her bangs literally look like she cut them herself, which she did not. One part is so short I’m not even sure I’ll be able to even it out. It’s all very uneven. There are also random strands that are missed and longer than others. I’m very upset with the outcome and worry it can’t even be fixed without cutting it all much shorter than she wanted just so it’s even.

Absolutely loved our experience. The barber quickly took care of my son's first haircut and did a great job. They did great adjusting for him moving around and introducing him to the clippers. The haircut took 13 minutes and included clippers on the side and scissors on top. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Kind and patient stylists has been my experience. They have toys to distract the kids while waiting. Wouldn't recommend showing up too early as the front is basically a toy store.
Only bad thing about this place is scheduling on their website. It's awful.

My daughter who is 6 has extreme anxiety when doing something new with people. Not here, she instantly felt at home with her stylist and they were chatting it up. Haircut turned out great and my daughter requested that we keep coming back to this location. I forgot the stylists name but she handled my kid perfectly and it was amazing watching my daughter warm up to her almost instantly after the first few minutes. I would recommend this place to anyone who has kids with separation issues or anxiety. Will be going back.

20 minutes before my daughters appointment they call and cancel and say they can’t do it then state they’re too busy no other stylist could take her even though we’ve been booked for days. Pathetic display of management and business.

Very child-friendly haircut facility. Each chair is a different vehicle with a small screen to help with the haircut process. There are lots of toys to play with and purchase. Highly recommend scheduling an appointment online so you are not waiting around hoping for a no-show. Prices are reasonable if your child is not comfortable yet with haircuts. It's in a strip mall type area so if you are traveling as a family one parent can hang back and the other can get some grocery shopping done.

It was shocking to witness such a lack of empathy and professionalism from a supposedly reputable establishment. Customer service should encompass a willingness to work with clients, especially in situations where minor delays are inevitable. My children are 4 and 7! However, Shear Madness demonstrated a rigid and unforgiving attitude that prioritized strict adherence to schedule over basic courtesy.
As a result of this disappointing experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Shear Madness to others. Their failure to accommodate a minor inconvenience speaks volumes about their priorities and their disregard for customer satisfaction. In the future, I will be taking my business elsewhere, where a more client-centric approach is valued and practiced.
