Not only does she give me exactly what I ask for but she cares about the health of my hair which past stylists in the past have not. Gena's work has transformed my confidence. I would not recommend this place. My hair still recovering from the severe damage after 8 months. I use to have a nice, luscious, thick healthy hair and now is brittle, frizzy, and 3 different tones. I requested a balayage with Gena (Genevieve) and this happened during the course: 1- she complained about the thickness of my hair all the time. 2-She had to mix over 5 times more product to finish my hair 3-she took more time than it should’ve 4-the haircut was uneven 5-The balayage had 3 different tones. 6-She ended up charging me more because my hair was thicker than she use to work “and she needed to fix the prices and the time”.
With less knowledge I’ve given myself better haircuts. I was a client from the river market and I thought that they all were extremely good but I was wrong. Unfortunately some people don’t know how to work with different hairs and this is the case. If you as an owner are just trying to “fill a chair” instead of providing service, you are in the wrong.
