We were treated with kindness and compassion, and all our questions were answered honestly and patiently. Mt. Moriah is a great option for your loved one.

As a Public Administrator I greatly appreciated the way they kept our office updated of the process. The quick and upfront response with the billing and personal touch that was given to the family from out of state when they came to town for the viewing. They went above and beyond for my client and his family.

We were met with care and support throughout the planning of my mother's service from start to end. Matthew went over and beyond to give us his guidance. The communication and attention to detail was superb and I strongly encourage using them for your loved ones.

My grandfather had pre-arranged his funeral nearly a decade in advance, which we were grateful for, as it meant much of the planning was already taken care of during an emotional time. However, there were several issues that added unnecessary stress during an already difficult period.
We had added on the memorial slideshow however we had to ask multiple times for the link to upload photos and was given it just two days before the service. When the online obituary went live, my grandfather’s birthday was incorrect. More concerning, the death certificate listed an entirely different last name, which was deeply upsetting and required correction. These are significant errors that should have been avoided.
On the day of the funeral, we were thankful that most things went more smoothly. My grandfather looked peaceful, and our family pastor led a meaningful service. That said, there were still small but impactful oversights — Several guests approached us during the service to ask where the floral arrangements they had ordered were, as they couldn’t find them on display. It turned out the flowers had arrived but hadn’t been set out — they were eventually located, but it was disappointing for those who had thoughtfully sent them.
After the service, I was left to transport the flower arrangements on my own to my car. No one from the funeral home offered assistance, and since the original delivery boxes had been discarded, I had to improvise. Without proper containers, several vases tipped over in my car on the way home, spilling water and leaving stains on the carpet. That final moment left me feeling overwhelmed and unsupported at a time when compassion and care should have been a priority.
I truly wish the process had been handled with more attention to detail and care. While the staff may have meant well, these mistakes detracted from what should have been a seamless experience. I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve future services for other families.

We had a really pleasant, sweet and efficient experience working with Susan Highberger at Mount Moriah. She helped us with the perfect spots and just the right amount of choices (not overwhelming)for choosing the marker. I also think that this cemetery is the most beautiful and well kept one that we saw when we were looking for the right place.

We were able to make arrangements the next day for the services. Services were held at our parish and Lilly made sure everything was prepared so that we didn't have to worry about the details.
