Yesterday my family held my Father Funeral on June 20 2026 at Mount Mariah and the people that was handling my Father Funeral did a fantastic job they made our family feel so much compassion and they were so nice and very professional and kind respectful and made my family feel so much love ❤️ and was held with so much love and understanding Matthew went above and beyond for my whole family he made it so comfortable and very pleasant I would definitely recommend Mount Mariah our Mother is buried there as well my Mom and Dad are at peace there at Mount Mariah they both can rest in peace and they are my Guardian Angels and so is Mount Mariah as well I am so great full for what they did for our Family and Matthew is a GOD SENT to me as well I will always remember Matthew for what he has done for our family

Two times we’ve used their services. On both occasions, there was a lot of miscommunication, incorrect things being performed, A lot of hidden cost that were not revealed when prearrangements were made. Some of the staff was nice, others sneaky. They were going to place my moms urn in the wrong spot until I brought the paperwork to correct it. They cracked the edge of my mom‘s handmade urn, they roughly glued it back together, but never offered to replace it. When we made the pre-arrangements for her services years ago, they never mentioned that if we used it on the weekend, it was considerably more expensive, and if family wanted to be present when they placed the urn, again over 1000 more dollars to have Family present.

My Moriah has all our family plots. It’s a beautiful cemetery and I like most that the headstones are flat on the ground, everyone’s the same, all equal. When the campanelli chimes on special occasions it’s so pretty!

Working with Addison Baker at Mt. Moriah made a hard, emotional time much easier. He was kind, knowledgeable and worked easily with our ever changing ideas and worries. He listened, offered ideas without pressure and smiled easily. Anthony Quinn, and the grounds crew were also easy to work with. I would recommend them for anyone.

Everyone we worked with was empathetic and kind during a very difficult time. Addison was especially informative and thorough, guiding us through each step with care. Brandi thoughtfully prepared an estimate for us without even being asked, which we truly appreciated.
The funeral home itself is beautiful, and most importantly, we felt that both our wishes and my mom’s wishes were fully honored. We’re very grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown to our family.

I would make sure you take a friend or other family member with you when making arrangements for the burial of your friend or family member. And take things slow, making sure you ask plenty of questions and make sure you have the correct answers! And have a figure as to how much money you want to spend!
