On April 12, 2022, Dr. Michael Chappell, with the Moyes Eye Center, performed what should have been a routine removal of a chalazion on my eyelid. However, when he attempted to inject lidocaine into my eyelid before the procedure, he injected the lidocaine into my left eye. The lidocaine included ingredients toxic to my eye, leading to excruciating pain, permanent eye damage, and disfigurement. I just had Lasik done with Dr. Kam this morning and at 8:30pm, I can actually see clear! Yes there’s a little haze but I know that will go away soon. So happy and thankful for the team over at Moyes. Check in, pre opp, surgery, and post opp went so smooth and everyone was extremely kind and supportive! I can’t thank the Moyes team enough.

Their execution of services is great, but their appointment scheduling is horrific. We waited half an hour after our appointment to get in and then another half an hour waiting for the doctor. So aggravating especially for an early morning appointment.
