Office personel and Office Manager Denise who sets the tone for the office couldn't be more unprofessional! Rude, doesn't listen, laughed at herself for making several mistakes, condescending tone, belittling comments. If you can grit your teeth until you see a Dr you will like the Dr's but office staff is awful. After 12 years I am going elsewhere.

The care quality is the best in the city. Everyone is amazing. The issue is the redundant checkmin process. It's Just horrible. I go.every two weeks and they act like it's my 1st time there.

Dr. J is the best doctor I have ever had. Always on top of the newest and best ways to practice medicine.

They will medically gaslight and lie to you if you are experiencing long covid, they told me not one long covid patient has came threw there offices but yet they send you to doctors that are backed out 3-6 months? Ya make a lot of sense. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE LONG COVID, ALL THEY WILL DO IS GIVE YOU AN INHALER AND SEND YOU ON YOUR WAY!

My mother had spent the morning in the hospital in extreme amounts of pain and didn’t necessarily agree with her diagnosis from st Luke’s. So she called her doctors office for a peace of mind and a second opinion.. When asking to speak to her dr krum? She got his nurse. Unsure of her name. But my mom explained her situation to the nurse and she responded with “Well you’re not a physician now are you”. There was absolutely no reason for that nasty comment. My mother was just in pain and trying to see what her doctor thought. Hopefully they don’t talk to all of their patients like that.

Dr. Boyce - agreed with another reviewer, he has no listening skills & patients are not even patients but just a number. Daughter left office without a clear understanding of treatment plan. Dr. prescribed antibiotics within 5 mins of consultation and sent her off her way. Daughter gets asthmatic coughing spells with respiratory infection - yet, Dr. seems less concern.Maybe because it was after hours urgent care, and drs were overwhelmed and felt rushed - then it's Meritas system that is disappointing their patients with their poor service. Would not recommend anyone coming here for urgent care.

Be careful with billing department. Got a bill for a routine wellness visit (100% covered by insurance) for nearly $500 for my husband. They didn't even attempt to run it thru insurance despite confirming the card details at check-in and scanning it into their system.

Really unimpressed with the office, specifically the doctors. If you're sick today, there's no available appts to get in for antibiotics or anything. I've dealt with Dr Boyce on a few occasions. He makes you feel like another number and not an individual patient. No personality, no patient empathy, no listening skills. We brought one of my kids in to see Dr McCormick for his first patient check-up. Told the nurse that son was here today for a first time checkup and the appt was scheduled over a month ago, but happens to be feeling early symptoms of strep. Doctor came in, didn't check ears, eyes, throat. Didn't check breathing and barely asked any questions at all and said, "ok, we'll get you checked out soon" and tried to dismiss him. My wife spoke up to the nurse when she tried to give paperwork and said, "can we check him for strep or COVID or something? He's not feeling well." The nurse walked out and wife overheard them scoffing in the hall. Then McCormick walks back in and said, "Next time you need to tell us you don't feel good before.." My wife said, "We did!" They swabbed him really quickly and said, " you're good. No COVID." Looking for a new doctors office. 2 out of 2 bad doctors from the same office isn't good odds. ✌?

My entire family has been seeing Dr. Michael DiBernardo since I was in elementary school. He is an absolutely wonderful doctor who listens to patient concerns, explains things well, and cares deeply about his clients. However, the quality of care that myself and my family have received at Meritas Health Gashland has decreased significantly over the years.Back when the clinic was Gashland Clinic, not affiliated with Meritas Health, things were different. Appointments were easy to make in a reasonable timeframe and the urgent care process was expedient. Since becoming affiliated with Meritas Health, the doctor I have seen since childhood is difficult to see unless I am willing to wait 4-8 weeks for my appointment date to arrive. If I do opt to wait for an office visit, my doctor is unable to sit and listen to all of my concerns for very long because of their packed schedules.Urgent care is a nightmare. There are so many patients that they have begun using a former lab room, suite 160, to seat patients waiting to be seen. The wait times range from an hour to three hours. Often, the doctors assigned to urgent care duty for that week are burned out, dismissive, and rude to their patients. The nurses and scheduling staff can be rude and short. I have no idea why this once lovely clinic has gone to hell in a hand basket, but it makes me very sad, angry, and disappointed. Meritas Health has obviously mismanaged this clinic, but they will never change - because healthcare is a necessary service, there is very little accountability to be held. Nevertheless, I hope this changes in the future, so that the many longtime patients can be served far better than they are currently being served.
