Brittany Utterback is my favorite hairdresser. After trying at least three other salons in the Kansas City metro, a co-worker recommended I visit Brittany and I've been seeing her regularly (approximately every 6-8 weeks) ever since. I seriously doubt you will find quality service as good and affordable as hers in the city. Not only is she fantastic at her job, she is kind, easy-going, accepting, non-judgmental, and conversational. Most of my appointments have just been trims because I'm growing out my hair. However, last time I got deep cherry low-lights and a dark demi-glaze. It took approximately 2.5 hours total, cost $120 (for cut and color). I've received a ton of compliments and I swear it's getting better as I wash it. The salon itself is low-key, which I like. My appointments are in the evenings and usually it is just me, Brittany, and maybe one other customer and/or hairdresser. To me, the private environment is familial and relaxing, versus the hustle and bustle of larger salons. Also, she gives amazing head massages.
