I was apprehensive as we took my brother to his first appointment with Emily Milburn. He had recently had a stroke and was in the care of myself and my husband. As soon as she entered the room, we were put to ease. Ms. Milburn is a very caring, kind and empathetic woman. She gave us quite a bit of information regarding my brothers condition and what we could expect in the future. All of our questions were answered and it was obvious that she is very knowledgeable. I would encourage anyone who is searching for a primary care giver to see Ms. Milburn.
Emily Milburn, nurse practitioner is one of the most caring and sweetest health professionals that we now have. It’s such a pleasure of being her patients now. She’s very knowledgeable about her practice. She takes so much time with you and is not afraid to refer you to a specialist if she thinks you need one. She’s so very caring and goes above and beyond in caring for and informing her patients when tragedy strikes. When my husband had strokes and grand mal seizures She was waiting for the helicopter to land and met him in the ER . She steps up when needed and helps move important procedures along by reaching out to the specialist ahead of time for you.
