I was able to find parts for my Emerson's Food Disposer that I couldn't find anywhere else, and the customer service rep. was very attentive with quick replies to my emails.
Easy to find this hose for my old Craftsman vacuum. Looks like the stock, original piece and much thicker and heavier than the last replacement I found at one of the home centers. Good find, shoulda' bought two.
I ordered three (3) as they were inexpensive and . . . my neighbor has the same model!
She was thrilled, and put a new blade on her X-acto knife (a furniture maker) and carefully removed the baffle, as I did, then dropped the replacement in. Cheers all around! So, No. 3 is the neighborhood spare.
I used a Magill forceps (I’m a medical writer and interviewer) in the past to remove foreign objects that fell in, while the neighbor always had a pair of long needle nose pliers handy. We both agreed that it was “about time” we had a removable/replaceable baffle. (Yes, yes, we always always unplugged the unit, even flipped the breaker, before diving in.)
