DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY The plumber that came out was very good, however, he had been working for 12 hours that day when he arrived. When working on a toilet, the supply line broke (it was 31 years old) and Better Service didn’t have that supply in his truck so he would have to go to the hardware store, then come back to install it. The water was shut off to that toilet so I said he could come back the next day to install it since it was so late and he still had a hose bib to do which he needed daylight for. Better Service didn’t send him to our house the next day (even though he was done early with his other jobs for that day) even though he said he needed to get over here and finish the job. By the next morning (Saturday) we had a flood in our basement from the toilet supply line that started leaking. If they had sent him here on Friday, it would not have happened. Saturday there’s water pouring into our basement and I can’t get anyone from Better Service on the phone. When I finally get ahold of someone, he was very condescending when I told him we had shut off the water to the house and it was still leaking. He couldn’t be bothered with me because he was “at the gym”. After a run around about what he was talking about with the water shut off, I finally figured out that he meant I needed to bleed the water lines so that they were all empty and then the supply line should stop leaking. That worked, the plumber came back & finished the job quickly but I was left the clean up the mess in my house. I spent at least 12 hours cleaning up the water mess. It damaged a piece of furniture, soaked an area tug that now needs cleaning, ruined extra flooring that was stored, ruined a keepsake that’s irreplaceable, filled our mini fridge with water (it survived), not to mention the subfloors that were soaked. They WILL NOT take any responsibility for the damages.
Every step of my experience with BetterServiceInc.com has been exceptional. From the initial call I dealt with nothing but very professional, knowledgeable, caring people on the phone. Kerri was very kind and personable. A perfect way to start the business relationship. Unlike many of the businesses you deal with today you are not a number and they actually care. When the technician Dexter came to my house, he was an absolute professional. Extremely knowledgeable. He knew his craft thoroughly!!! Dexter was very polite and answered and explained everything he was going to do before he did it. I would certainly recommend this outstanding business to anybody that needs anything done in their home or whether it be Plumbing issues HVAC etc. they are complete professionals through and through.
I don’t normally post but I felt this one was important. This is the best group ever! We’ve had ongoing AC issues (partially because of another company) since May and they have done an amazing job. From having to find parts (difficult to do during Covid) to helping us with a warranty company, and being super responsive when we call/text. I’m sure they cringe when they realize it’s us calling, but they’ve done a terrific job! We highly recommend them! They also did some plumbing work and it was great too!
