“I had an appointment yesterday and Ben was my technician. My appointment was for a gel polish to be removed and then a manicure with regular polish be put on. Ben used the drill to remove some of the gel polish but didn’t bother to wrap my nails in foil and acetone for soaking to remove the rest of the gel polish. My nails are lumpy and show ridges where the remaining gel polish is. I didn’t protest but I should have. My nails look awful and I don’t know that pictures will show just how bad they are. I’m not sure if I’m more unhappy with Ben or myself for wasting my money. Plus I even tipped him. I’m an idiot.
*Update—Sean reached out to me immediately after posting my review. He told me to come in at my convenience and he would repair my nails at no cost. I did go back and Sean did exactly as he said he would. My nails look great and I’m pleased with them. Sean is the manager of Fur Elise. He obviously cares very much about making his clients happy and making the business successful. I’m changing my rating to 5 stars. Thank you, Sean.“

“I found this gem of a nail shop three years ago and have always had an excellent pedicure. Tran is such a perfectionist. She removes any polish on the sides from any over polish. She measures my big toenails to make sure they are perfectly even. I called yesterday for a last minute pedicure and they moved others around to accommodate my limited availability due to caring for my elderly mother.“
