“Words can describe how thankful we are for Dr. Neil. This is the most caring, helpful, and affordable vet in Kansas City. They go out of their way to help your pets.“
“My experience was wonderful. They were so caring and attentive . I was very nervous about a new Vet, but they were referred to me by a friend. They were all she told me they would be. They took excellent care of Maggie and calmed my fears. They have followed up twice to make sure she was doing well. Highly recommended.“
“The people there really care about my animals and always try to get us in promptly and treat my animals gently.“
“I have been taking our 2 cats here since we moved to this area 8 years ago. Dr. Neal is fantastic and always caring. Recently our older cat was diagnosed as having advanced kidney failure. Dr. Neal was nothing short of extremely compassionate and caring. He also didn't try to do more tests just to run up our bill. When the time care to let our baby go, he met us on his one day off so that our cat wouldn't suffer. I can't explain how incredibly nice this man was especially when dealing with the terrible loss of a beloved pet. My husband and I were also very grateful that his bill was so reasonable. I would highly recommend him!“

FYI if you need to get your tomcat neutered, they have a special for Tuesday's, (Tomcat Tuesday) where they are cheaper to get done!“
“Crain is where I always took my critters when I lived in the area. Now that I live 17 hours away, I have been forced to take my Scooby to a vet where I live now. Scooby was diagnosed in TX with congestive heart failure and some other issues, and the monthly prescriptions they prescribed would cost $305 PER MONTH, and that didn’t include his thyroid medication that he has been on for a few years.I recently came back to Missouri because my grandson was born and in the NICU in Columbia. I made an appointment at Crain, which I had to change twice, due to the craziness I had going on, but Dr. Rob worked with me the whole time. I wanted his opinion on Scooby’s diagnosis, test results, and the medications. They totally went above and beyond what I could ever expect to work with my availability and rushing back to Columbia to be with my daughter and grandson. I cannot thank them enough for all they did for us. Scooby’s medications were reevaluated and now cost less than $100 a month for all of his medications. And, they told me when I need refills to call, and they would ship him what he needs. I called today to order refills and Savannah made it all so easy!If you want to take your critters to a place that will genuinely care, Crain is the place. If you want to feel like you’re not being taken advantage of for money because you love your animal, Crain is amazing! I think very highly of their business and just wish I could bring them to TX with me, but since I can’t, I appreciate them making the accommodations I need to care for my dog in his Senior years.“
