My son started attending ATA Chesterfield when he was 8. We were happy to have him interested in an physical extracurricular activity. Mrs. Bhavikatti is an outstanding martial arts instructor. Her positive energy and exceptional class engagement make every session enjoyable and motivating for the students. She has a wonderful way of making everyone feel genuinely welcomed and included from the moment they step into the building.
What stands out most is how she balances encouragement with accountability — she gently but firmly holds students responsible for doing their best, which has helped my child improve both their skills and their focus. My son started attending ATA Chesterfield just about a month ago and the experience has been incredible. He is 5 and has typical young boy energy. We joined ATA to give him a structured outlet and help him gain self confidence and after just a few weeks we are already seeing a difference. It is definitely an investment but 100% worth it. He loves class and the environment and instructors are positive and nurturing. They take the time with each individual student to provide tips and encouragement.
