All staff was professional and the price was reasonable. I was very happy with everyone including the front office staff and Breanna was awesome with the financial portion.
Right. Significant, 2 worded point. Local business. It does make a difference. Without becoming too proprietorial by providing my protected and private medical history, I wish I could issue 10 stars, but the 5/5 stars I chose here reflect my actual patient experience thus far, from top to toe.
Here is why….
I deliberately held back a few days on leaving this review because (in the disappointing AND EXPENSIVE shadow of past experiences elsewhere) I wanted to make sure my level of care didn’t just hinge on one or even two things. It needs to hinge on all things. Having experiencing a couple of Aspen Dentals metropolitan KC competitors, I can very confidently say that they (Aspen Dental) are very, very good at what they are doing for their patients. The compassionate and complete understanding, non-judgmental approach to my care is standing firm at the top of my list for “musts”, and Aspen Dental have met and went beyond that ethically and flawlessly.
The physical office itself, lobby and exam rooms, are very comfortable to be in, the patient experience every step of the way was vivid and IMMEDIATELY relieving from the moment I walked into the front door and spoke to receptionist. My particularly “dense” health snapshot is not exactly straight forward, and that was immediately recognised by all persons involved in my visit.
I am going to name drop here—with great and sincere reason.
The office manager, Breanna, will not just talk with you about all angles involved in the potential treatment plan, she puts that talk directly into action. Robustly. And…….if she is not already, I do think she deserves to be a valuable source for other Aspen Dentals on how they should be or could be operating. A source for synchronicity across all Aspen Dentals. Something good or great, could always be better. A high-level and compassionate standard of care.
The doctor whom consulted with me, Dr. Adam, was very easy to trust from “go”, and remained realistic, pragmatic and fact-driven when consulting me. There were ZERO judgments or biases. He also gave me no reason to believe I cannot or should not be treated when other places (competitors) either placed deliberate roadblocks to discourage me, or abandoned the diagnosis and treatment in need. In my case, that is paramount, as it all has a direct impact on all corners of my health.
One of THE most important things that stand out to me; is the use of comprehensive and a cautiously urgent approach rather than a greed driven and focal goals that would mostly, if not totally, benefit the practice and not really, on balance, benefit me as the patient.
My last point, but not the least important, is; at no point did I feel like “a number”—or feel like they just wanted to “flip” an exam bed and collect money, then onto the next patient. I would advise potential patients that at the end of the day, Aspen Dental IS a business and needs to produce a product/service from that business, that is an obvious and inescapable fact, but just like any other business, but they balance it, and do it very well, indeed. Based on my experience as their patient, the patients and very compassionate staff is where it all starts and remains. Take what you wish from my words, but I write them with total confidence, and can promise that it is all real, and is fact-based from my experience, and conversely, worth the initial consult. Cheers!
All good, very helpful!!
