I would give 0 stars if I could, I came in later in the day and I get it you wanna go home but just because you wanna go home doesn’t mean injuries just stop. They did not care at all and were making rude comments and had attitudes the entire time. I was kinda out of it from the reason I was there and they were getting very frustrated if I didn’t have all my information in hand and had to pull it up. The first “doctor” I saw had a snarky comment after everything and while I was pulling the information up she would look at me annoyed and tap her foot. They were completely unprofessional and I will never go here again and never recommend it to anyone that wants actual help. Please train your employees take care of people and not treat the situation like a inconvenience, thank you :)
I visited SSM Health Express Clinic in Arnold for removal of a fish hook from my finger. Like many patients, I chose urgent care because I believed it would be more affordable and appropriate than an emergency room visit for a minor injury.
The care I received was professional, and the staff were kind. My concern is with the billing and lack of transparency.
After my visit, my insurance processed the claim as an emergency room visit, resulting in an ER copay and additional charges that I never expected when walking into an urgent care clinic. DO NOT GO HERE! It is NOT an urgent care like it says on the freestanding building. They will bill it as an emergency room visit. I don’t even understand how this is legal. Very deceptive business practice. Also the provider spent 5 minutes total with my daughter at the visit. No tests run or anything and we are being charged $500.
