“Update: I am dropping this to 4 stars because of the older brunette receptionist who was abrasive, and was out of line on a phone call on sat, feb 15. When she is coached on how to treat customers, ill gladly raise this back to 5. I now understand why a few others on here have complained about receptionists. Its just this one woman, the others have given me no problems

This place is absolutely amazing from top to bottom. I came from Clarkson Eye care after some bad experiences and this place is a breath of fresh air. With the exception of one older lady, the office staff is friendly, Dr. Schaag was awesome, and the intake tech, Miranda, is especially warm and friendly.

The price is WAY more reasonable than Clarkson. VSP goes way further here than it ever did at Clarkson. I think I paid half of what I paid at Clarkson, if that. Also, unlike Clarkson, this place does not nickel and dime you. They have no problem giving me free contact lense solution each time I visit for anything, and they even are willing to provide you with up to two free sets of contact lenses in a calendar year in the event of an emergency so you don't end up using up lenses from your box of contact lenses prematurely. Also, unlike Clarkson, you get wipes for free with your glasses.

And I have to give a shout out to Diane in the contact lense department. She is amazing. She goes above and beyond with me to make sure that my contact lenses are working out for me. She is quick to contact me if there are any issues, and she even helped me with my rebate form to make sure I got the best price possible on the contacts. Also, even when I was in for a backup glasses exam just last week, she remembered me and came over just to make sure everything was all good with my contacts, and of course had no problem hooking me up with more contact lense solution.

Bottom line, especially if you are a Clarkson patient, give this place a try. A side note, this is a VSP premier edge facility. I'm sure there's a reason for that.

As long as Arnold Eye care stays the way it is, I intend to keep going here and nowhere else.
