“I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the care that Dr. Kivisto and her clinic members showed to me and my cat, Bear. A feral cat that has lived on my 18 acres for the last 9 years had only been to the vet as a kitten to be neutered. Friendly to me, Bear, was quite frightened as he was taken out of his crate and allowed to explore the exam room. Feral cats endure so much in the wild environment, only to become completely confused by a clean and tidy exam room. Bear found the window to finally settle down a little bit. Dr. Kivisto took her time and very patiently examined Bear as if he was just a slightly nervous young kitten. Dr. Kivisto was very professional in knowing that Bear would continue his life as a feral cat, but with plenty of attention from those of us who welcomed him onto our land. I do not have a great deal of understanding of kittens and/or cats in general, so Dr. Kivisto carefully explained some of the medical updates that are available to Bear as a feral cat. I am so happy to have found the Kivisto Veterinary Clinic, and will take Bear back for his follow-up exam.
