Huge shout out to all the staff here. Our cat has had health issues his whole life and we ended up switching to Barrington a couple years ago because of how caring they were. We ended up having to put our sweet & spicy cat Captain (Cappy) down yesterday due to his deteriorating heart issues, and they were so kind, compassionate, explained the whole process, and allowed me to hold our boy as he passed. Thank you Barrington Oaks for all you've done for us and our boy.
We just moved to Elk River and suddenly, my 3 kitties needed to be seen immediately (sudden and severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, lethargy, etc.). I called the clinic at 8am and, despite them being booked and short-staffed on vets, BOV got all of us in - within an hour! - on an urgent appointment status (the kitties were dropped off and seen between appointments). They were all seen before the end of lunch, and I was directly contacted by the doctor to discuss findings and recommendations. We would like to say thank you to everyone for Radagast our Bengal. He came from extreme unsanitary conditions from a family member in September. Filled with bad teeth, claws, a heart murmur, labored breathing and eventually he stopped eating. Today he crossed the rainbow bridge with the support and help of Barrington, they were kind and understanding of all the tears rolling in. Though his time with my fiance and I was short lived, he still got to live a good 2 months with no stress inducing environments.
