My experiences with Peoples First and Tim Horton have been nothing short of transformative for my healthcare journey. Tim provides remarkable attention to patients as whole people. He and his team are dedicated to educating clients, empowering them to take autonomy over their own medical decisions. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Kim, who spent hours with me during our first visit to thoroughly understand my medical history. This was my first time with med management for my 7 year old son. I was nervous, not sure what to expect and didn't want a clinician that didn't try to understand my son as a person.
Tim was so reassuring and you can see his energy into each appointment towards care management. He wanted to fully understand my son, see how he is in person and asked my son if he had any questions. It’s hard enough to find a good support system these days, and I couldn’t imagine mine without the incredible skills, knowledge, and compassion that I’ve felt from Tim Horton and this clinic. From his wide breadth of knowledge about mental conditions, Tim is also incredibly skilled with other specialties such as connective tissue disorders. Trying to find good mental help is like finding a needle in a haystack, you really need the best of the best to help you through it, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do so.
