Anna's Alterations Tailoring

SO EXPENSIVE. I have just about everything altered bc I’m small. Thought I would try a new place that was convenient to my nail place. She wanted $225 to take in side seams 1/2 inch and hem 1/2 inch on an $85 dress!. Then when I said it was too much I would find somewhere else (my normal place) she said okay I’ll then charge you $25 for pinning/fitting it!! Which it took her 5-6 mins to pin the dress. Nothing crazy. I would recommend Kim’s alterations in St. Louis Park. Very reasonable and great work!

Terrible experience. I was forced to use this alteration place because I rented my wedding dress. I was told that the alterations would be around $200.00. She did the fit and charged me $800.00 before starting the alterations. The receipt was handwritten on a piece of paper. I told her that she was over charging me. She said, I would have a to find a new dress then. After I said ok to the alterations, feeling out of choices, she gave me an appointment for a last fit, one week before my wedding. I had two incredible interactions with Anna's Alterations over the weekend. First, I came into the shop short notice needing a bridesmaids dress altered and without hesitation staff was available and helpful in getting my alterations taken care of. I dropped off my dress in the morning and was able to pick it up the same day. The following day our bride had a terrible hole in her dress and needed emergency alterations so she could wear her dress for her ceremony and reception. We walked into Anna's and again were greeted with the same kindness and willingness to help. We were in and out of the shop with the bride in less than 20 minutes and Anna truly saved the day.
