Rented from Torborg for almost 5 years both in an apartment and in a townhome. Lacks communication from office, always felt like I was a bother with issues. Rarely follows up or if you do get a response it is usually a short answer that isn’t helpful. Concerns about unit that we brought forth seemed to be thrown to the wayside. Overall, wouldn’t recommend just based on the office staff and their communication with tenants. If anything, the townhouses were okay, better than the apartments and a decent deal for monthly rent & size for comparable rentals.

I have had multiple experiences with this company and I will say my first was ok, nothing terribly to report. But I recently was a resident and my experience with the manager of the complex and Competence was sub par. This is not a family friendly company. If you have children of any Angie or just live and move around as normal above in a 2nd or 3rd floor apartment you will be penalized. It’s a unfortunate situation including the deposit rerun. I used to do move out cleans, and I left the apartment 100% more clean then when I came to. Yet the full deposit was not retuned as there was unclean things such as toilets. I see many reviews are misguided and referring to rental property management- this is Torborg builders- a construction company & a very good one at that!
The Torborg team was awesome, super friendly guys, Landon is an awesome Project Manager & their painter Jay is a hoot. They did an exceptional job building our facility & have been incredibly fair with pricing & done their best to accommodate our requests.
As a business owner renting from the Torborgs, I am nothing but impressed & thankful.
