I’ve gotten a few things altered at Tom’s Tailors and they always do a really professional job. I’ve had some dresses hemmed, straps shortened, and they were happy to add details like installing a snap closure bra strap holder on the underside of each dress strap. I also had some jeans hemmed and asked to preserve the original hem, and they did that perfectly as well. The prices are a bit high, so keep that in mind. If you want the job done well, you can trust this business!
Tom's Tailor is amazing. Highly recommended. I've been there about four times. I've had pants hemmed (see video), jacket sleeves taken up. They are always super friendly and fast. Even when they're busy, I've been in and out in less than 15 minutes. I had a rush job that needed a real fast turnaround and they were able to get it done ahead of time. I cannot recommend Tom's Tailor enough.
I had never been to a tailor before, so I walked in with six button‑up shirts and two pairs of pants, not really knowing what to expect. Two of the shirts were lower quality and needed extra work, and they were completely honest with me about that from the start.
The rest of the items, four shirts and two pairs of pants, came back fitting like a glove. The craftswomanship was excellent. They were patient with all my questions and never made me feel silly for being new to the process. They also took the time to listen to my concerns about fit when I dropped everything off.
