Minnesota Recovery Connection (MRC) is a grassroots organization that provides support for people in recovery from substance use disorder. MRC offers peer-to-peer services such as telephone recovery support, navigation services, and one-on-one coaching. They focus on nonclinical support and connect individuals with the resources they need. MRC is dedicated to strengthening the recovery community through public education and advocacy. Their Recovery Coach Academy trains individuals to become peer recovery coaches. The organization also hosts an annual Walk for Recovery, a large event celebrating recovery. MRC is known for its compassionate and supportive environment, where individuals can find understanding and guidance on their journey to recovery.
All good stuff going on here and that's for sure! Great teachers teaching others to do the same ... People finding the resources they need to break chains of addiction and experience true freedoms! Let's make a way
This place is the go to if you are in need of guidance in your road to recovery or just in need of a peer to help you navigate resources. Their peer specialist are super awesome....
This place here is in my heart. I love these guys I volunteer regularly as much as I can. These guys are hard-working guys and women. I respect these ladies and gentlemen a lot with my whole heart and they’re willing to listen to anybody straight or gay. Nobody’s turning around and we’ll talk to everybody that need to be talked to and they have an air and everybody there been through the same drama and traumatized everybody or else user at one time so we all know how it is to be filled that day or feel like you’re gonna relapse or even if you have relapse still able to give me information to better yourself and care for others genuinely.
