This review is long overdue. On October 14, 2025, at approximately 5:40 PM, I arrived late to my appointment but called ahead to notify the front desk. When I arrived, there were two women at the front desk—one younger and one older. The older staff member checked me in and was extremely rude in her approach. She even whispered—loud enough for me to hear—that people like me who arrive late should not be allowed in.
I was completely taken aback by this comment and chose to ignore it in the moment. I have been a patient at East Valley for many years, and this interaction alone is the reason I will not be returning. We have made the commute for years, but I no longer feel comfortable or trust a facility that allows staff to treat patients this way.

East Valley is a great place for pet care. The staff is very friendly, caring and great at what they do. A big shout out to Dr. Blohm for the wonderful above and beyond care she’s given to our fur babies.

My time with putting my dog Charlie down was wonderful. Everyone was so kind and the Veterinarian spent so much time with me. She was very understanding and very comforting. I appreciate everything you did for me and Charlie!

We are so grateful for this vet clinic and the care they’ve given our cat. From helping him recover from a broken leg to guiding us through all of those first-year visits, every experience has been positive. The entire team is calm, welcoming, and incredibly patient. They take the time to explain everything clearly and never make us feel rushed or silly for asking questions. Their understanding and compassion made a stressful situation so much easier. We truly couldn’t have asked for better care.

The staff at East Valley Animal Clinic is amazing. They have been our vet clinic for all three of the dogs we have had and they are always gentle, kind, and care for our pets almost as much as we do. I would highly recommend them for taking care of your furry kids!

Experience was pretty good, but at the very last moments with our dog prior to be putting down the front desk girl asked for a form of payment rather than waiting until he passed away.

We've used East Valley Animal Clinic for years. They fixed up one of our dog's legs when she dislocated her ankle using cutting edge technology for the time (3D printed orthotic). They spent a lot of effort on her case and explored various options. We felt they informed us as much as possible on our decisions and answered all of our questions.
When our oldest dog got very sick suddenly, we called and explained it was urgent she be seen, and they fit her in the same day. We suspected we were going to have to put her to sleep, and they offered to do a "Quality of Life" visit with us. We got to sit down with the vet while we explained what had happened and she helped us make the very difficult decision to put her to sleep. She and the tech were very compassionate, left the decision to us, and gave us their feedback. We really just needed to know we were making the right decision, and she helped greatly with that. Despite them being very busy, we weren't rushed or made to feel as though we were under any sort of time limit to say goodbye to our dog.
We are very grateful to have them as our vet, and wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else.

Very disappointed that this place doesn't have emergency vet care. My parents had to take their doggie a different place. Sadly my parents dog got Pneumonia and wasn't strong enough to make it. I blame this place, because if they had emergency service my parents dog could have been diagnosed sooner and might have been strong enough to fight the Pneumonia. Very disappointed!!!
