Mike the Carpet Guy helped us with carpet and vinyl plank flooring to finish our basement in St. Paul. We were very satisfied with the quality, price, and timeliness of the project. Unfortunately, it has been just two years since the project and a piece of the flooring border has become unglued. I have reached out multiple times via phone and text to the company with no response. They will not be getting return business from us if this is the poor customer service they have with no response or follow up.

We had Mike the Carpet Guy install carpet in the basement and flooring in the upstairs bathroom. The work itself turned out great—everything looks sharp, and the turnaround was fast. Mike offers quality products at a fair price, which we appreciated.
That said, the cleanup could’ve been better. There was tape left on windows, closet doors left in the bathroom, and various scraps lying around. In the bathroom, we found wet towels and old caulk in the tub. When the toilet was reinstalled, the shutoff valve was turned off—no biggie, but when I opened it, it leaked badly. Satisfied with the carpet quality but beyond poor installation. Please look at other options before you get the installation from them. Visible seam in middle of the rooms. Poorly cut carpet near doors and edges. After I complaint they sent an installer to look and he told me that whoever installed it did a bad job. He stretched the carpet at few places and told me that's all he can do, hope after sometime it blends in. 4 months and still looks awful.
