“I wouldn’t hesitate hiring Steve Gentry Construction for your next home project needs. After receiving a few bids from area contractors, not only was pricing on point, their consult and bids were the most detailed and very professional. Their project manager, Charles, truly cares and treats your home just like his own (not just a slogan). Charles was very responsive, knowledgeable, and personable. He not only knows his stuff, you can tell he enjoys what he does. Their bid was detailed and included all we discussed. Even when we decided against doing one of the projects at the time listed on the bid for personal reasons, Charles was more than understanding and not pushy. We appreciated seeing it all laid out in detail regardless so we could make the best choice for our home’s needs. The work was done very efficiently. The different crews that were needed for different projects were just as professional and hard working - you can tell they all work under the same standards and expectations, and you can tell they all respect one another and Charles, working like a well oiled machine. Charles kept us updated along the way, checking in and asking questions when needed, so we were aware of each step and we were all on the same page throughout the process. At one point I had to make a decision that would change a few things, especially financially, and Charles didn’t hesitate to give me advice on what he’d do if it were his home, truly treating your home like his own. Even when the project was finished Charles made sure our property was left better than he found it. He personally came back to clean up and remove material. Everyone from office staff, to crews, to Charles himself are dedicated to their work and it shows. We are grateful we went with Steve Gentry on the biggest project we have had to do on our home, and we will not hesitate hiring them for any future work. Trust me when I say, just call them up and get a meeting with Charles, you won’t regret it!”
