Owner was on vacation, hence the late response earlier. Has full schedule but was very helpful regarding permits and processing times. Will contact again if we have to delay until Spring.
Chris built a nice deck for me three years ago and it’s holding up well.
He also finished most of the basement and put in some built ins few years ago, and I hope he will take on a bathroom installation project this year.
Not everything was perfect and it largely depends on subcontractor he uses, but overall all of the work is pretty solid and he definitely can be trusted. The deck was built by Chris directly and it is my favourite project so far.
Having our deck built by Shanahan Building and Remodeling was a wonderful experience for my wife and I. We had a big project and wanted to find a contractor we felt had our best interests in mind - Chris Shanahan was that guy. Chris helped us through each stage - he sketched a few designs, answered a lot of questions, gave us feedback on materials we were thinking about using, and was nice enough to provide a quote for each configuration we considered (more than one). Chris and his crew were professional every time they came over to work on the deck...they even cleaned up every day...never leaving nails, boards, or trash around.
