We were given a detailed construction schedule from beginning to end that we could follow along with and know when things were happening. He was great at answering my questions and putting me at ease. He has a great group of subs that do quality work. All of the people we had interactions with were very kind and professional. Jenni and Brent were also excellent at helping answer any questions and keeping things going smoothly. We would pick him over and over again. Such an efficient crew! “My kitchen sink drain plugged up and my attempts to unplug it were unsuccessful. So I called my heating/cooling contractor (Tonna Mechanical) and they immediately recommended Rochester Drain-Rite without my even asking for a recommendation. I called RDR and they gave me a same day appointment. The technician arrived on time after sending me a text stating that he was on his way. I showed him the situation and he brought in his electric powered snake and sent it in 50 ft. Surprisingly it didn't unplug the drain. So he next connected a water hose to the nearby wash tub and inserted the other end (with some sort of gadget attached) into the drain pipe and then turned on the tub faucet to pressurize the drain line. After a short time a noticeable pop was heard and the drain was then determined to be now clear. He and I then discussed the situation afterwards and it was determined that the cause of the plug was a bowl of rice that had been earlier send down the garbage disposal. The rice got wet and expanded in the drain pipe and completely plugged it. The technician (Herald) was obviously knowledgeable and competent and did a professional job. He stated that rice (and sometimes egg shells) was the number one cause of plugs like mine. He also noticed that there was a slight leak in the drain piping under the sink which he also fixed by replacing some piping and seals. Before leaving he completely cleaned up the area. It was a job well done and I was happy with the result and was also happy with the fee that was charged. I had previously estimated to myself that it would be considerably higher than was it was.“
