I liked going to VIP I liked the way this person did my hair. But I miss one appointment and she wouldn’t return my calls, I didn’t try to miss my appointment I thought it was on a Friday but it was on a Tuesday and I forgot. I tried to call and apologize but she wouldn’t talk to me. I just wanted an another chance. Thank you. Sorry for the long review.

I got my hair braided in a nice design just to have as a protective style and I love it! Asty did my 4C hair and the best thing about her is that she doesn’t hurt you as she braids. Asty constantly checked in with me to ask if I was ok and by time we were done I wasn’t in any pain, my hair looked amazing and I was out the door. The price was amazing too. $100 for this style.

Tranese SLAYED my layered Sew in! It was my first time in her chair and she did a spectacular job. She asked me lots of great questions about my hair history and health, she gave me a thorough wash and condition and then braided my hair in a mindful way of my conditions. The outcomes were perfect! I also enjoy the calm and uplifting culture of the salon.

Curtis at VIP Hair is hands down the best hairdresser I’ve ever encountered! He will have your hair looking bouncy and well-behaved. He’s a master with the scissors! Oh my, I need my hair styled by Curtis again!

It had been six months since I had gotten my ends trimmed and I desperately needed a haircut, so I called and made an appointment with Tiffany. Tiffany took fantastic care of me and my hair. She shaped my hair so well by giving me layers that added volume and bounce. I had been to several other salons before trying VIP Hair & Nail Salon, and she gave me the best curly haircut I’ve gotten in Minneapolis by far. Not only is she an experienced and talented stylist, she’s a kindhearted person who had a thoughtful conversation with me while she was cutting my hair. By the time my haircut was finished, I felt validated and appreciated, and my hair looked great! I highly recommend going to VIP Hair & Nail Salon for a restorative experience - body and soul!

I made an appointment request a week prior ( Sunday ) for an event. I got a confirmation email and in that email it stated that I would get a call to confirm my appointment.
By Wednesday I still had not received a call so I decided to call myself and double check. The receptionist informed that she did not see my appointment request, she asked me what length and style I wanted, as well as when i anticipated visiting. She Informed me that she would speak to a stylist to return my call in hopes of an appointment confirmation.
It is now Friday and I have yet to receive a call to confirm my appointment. With my event getting closer I made the decision to schedule an appointment somewhere else, but I’m writing this review with hopes of improving customer experience because… yikes.

I paid 85 dollars for my 8year old to get a silk press from (TRANESE BROWN). She did not do a silk press, by the time we left out of her place my daughter hair was puffing up. I wrote her to explain this to her and she has not reached back out. Very unprofessional and unfortunate. Waste of money I’m posting a picture this was literally 3 hours later and my daughter didn’t do anything but get out the car to go into Macy's and then home. I was highly disappointed.
