I’ve been coming to this place since I was 17 because I’m an immigrant with no steady income, and they offer discounts to people with low resources who need health care… That’s about the only “good” thing about this place, because they suck at everything else.
Their customer service and front desk is lacking severely in every aspect and they’re the most unhelpful people ever, their providers don’t actually care about the patients and much less the type of service they provide, it’s an immense headache to even get a prescription refilled (I’ve had more than 5 different instances where I ran out of my meds, while they’re still processing the refill request I submitted weeks in advance), their financial department is managed horribly as I’ve scheduled multiple OTP appointments with them and they don’t call or leave a voicemail!! And I have to keep rescheduling for some reason??
It’s getting ridiculous to the point where I’m ready to go somewhere else even if it means accumulating MORE medical debt.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a bad experience, waiting so long for an appointment and then they call for cancelation at the same day 30 minutes before the appointment 😠😠😠

I live in another state but recently received help from Geraldine Cereceda who is a Community Health Worker. She helped me and my wife with our Medicaid application and did a fabulous job. She provided an excellent service, knew all the details about the program and what questions to ask. She was super charismatic and kind with us and happy to answer all our questions. Highly recommend her!!!

I was looking for a new primary care provider after changing my job and insurance and I thought it would be nice to see a doctor in my neighborhood. What a mistake!
I have never had such a frustrating experience with a healthcare provider. I spent several hours on the phone trying to get my prescription refilled. Then the provider assigned to me—Alma Rosignoli—refused to refill it until I met her for a physical. She wouldn't even give me enough medication to get me to the day of the appointment! Then they called to reschedule my appointment the Friday before it was scheduled. Apparently I am supposed to go another 2–3 weeks without my medication.
Refusing to refill my prescription was an unnecessarily cruel move by Alma Rosignoli. Rescheduling that appointment at the last minute was just plain mean.
And throughout the last few months, communicating with Southside CHS has been somehow even more frustrating than communicating with larger providers. I give up.

Recently moved to the area and needed a new clinic. My first visit was great. Very thorough check-up. Doctor, nurses and blood technician were very professional and helpful with insurance billing.I have even received a friendly follow-up call. Thorough, professional and kind!
