Today I went in to file a harassment restraining order against my ex. I was very nervous to do this, but the workers here made me feel confident in my decision and guided me through the whole process.

Right away when I came in a young girl who worked there offered me water and got me comfortable. During the appointment Olivia did the filing for me and made sure it included everything I needed to say.

About 10 years ago, SVC helped with urgent support: a peer counselor met face-to-face several days during the week and listened, provided empathy and support. Feeling gratitude for your support. Thank you.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone at the SVC for all their kindness, understanding, and support during a very stressful and emotional time in my life. I'm very thankful to everyone for providing me with the help and resources I needed to gain safety from my abuser.

I got to work with Michelle and I'm so glad I had someone like her to validate and understand my troubles. I felt so much safer and freer after they helped me. I was able to report my case to the local police as well as fill out paperwork for an Order For Protections with help from a couple different advocates.
