For one job, a technician did a great job replacing outside spigots, adding a shut off valve, and updating a laundry room sink’s faucet and valves, going above and beyond to explain everything. Another customer had a broken toilet shut off valve replaced; the team came quickly, communication was good, and they were able to price match another vendor to get it repaired quickly. Multiple uses over the past 2 years for installs (water heater and sink hookup) and repairs (burst pipe) show quality of work is great and response time couldn’t be better. Customers will definitely be recommending and using Onyx again for future projects.
I called Onyx and another plumbing company in St. Louis Park to get estimates for running a steel line partway to my replacement gas dryer (from a Google search, I was under the impression that the existing copper line was not allowed for natural gas, so I’d need a longer steel line to get close enough to use flexible stainless line). I sent both plumbing companies the same photos. John at Onyx informed me that I didn’t need any work because the copper line (clearly visible in the photos) was in fact acceptable. The other plumbing company instead quoted $585 for the work! I think that says it all. Thanks again, John!
I was able to get an appointment the next day when I called & Trenton did a great job at replacing my outside spigots, adding a shut off valve in my finished ceiling (also helped size the hole for the access panel I ordered), and updating my outdated laundry room sink’s faucet & valves. He went and beyond to explain everything, including what to do in the winter. Will definitely be recommending and using Onyx again for future projects!
We had them replace a broken toilet shut off valve. They were able to come quickly, and communication was good. Initial estimate was a bit high, but they were able to price match another vendor. Got it repaired quickly.
